Character influence maps

This first map, is for the hero. The influences draw mainly from prince of Persia and the honourable Jedi: Obi Wan Kin obi. These are more for the actual technical design of the character rather than his Arabian nights background, this is covered by Aladdin and the character from Assassins creed. Computer game fighting characters Dhalsim and Kai feature along with batman, for the hand to hand combat style and stealthy approach to danger much like my hero Manu.

This map shows my influences for the villain character: Sheriff O'Reilly. Clearly the main influences are the Clint Eastwood character from The Good The Bad And The Ugly, and from Red Dead Redemption, just for the sake of that western gunslinger archetype. It also features Butch Cassidy and the Sun dance Kid, again for the same reasons, aesthetics and personality. As well as this, I've incorporated Captain Hook, the Duke from Moulin Rouge and Emperor Xerxes from 300, all for their clear personality traits of delusional power and evil.

This map shows the influence for my sidekick character. Funnily enough my two main influences were heavy set comedian Will Sasso, and Lenny from Of Mice And Men. Both, (although one is pretending) are slow in demeanour yet large in stature. Both top left characters are the slow dumb mouse from Disney's Cinderella and also the slow dumb mouse from Earthworm Jim: Henchrat. Again, two oafish yet slightly lovable chaps. The last 3 are stronger yet still noticeably less intelligent characters: Bane (from Batman) Ehonda (from Street Fighter 2) and Festus (from the WWE). These characters are all capable of carrying out 'evil' or 'takeover' tasks, yet always seem to falter, much like my sidekick character: Deputy Freddie.

I have had these for a while, but put off uploading them and the other work from my Character project. expect to see a barrage of character work.
