Transcription (Thoughts and Ideas)




Going on the conversations I've had with my fellow classmates, previous year groups and Alan, I've managed to condense my broad thoughts, into something more concise.

After talking with Alan the other week, I think we both agreed that 'Environmental' and 'Architectural' was probably the best way for me to go in my coming projects (at least for the time being). Upon thinking about this, I began to think of films which in terms of their world an environment began to inspire me.

Now, guys, Don't hang me for this, but Terminator: Salvation, albeit inferior to Judgement day (and even the abomination that was Rise Of The Machines) it has some amazing environments and concept work for those post apocalyptic environments.





Ideas for an animation in this kind of setting are limitless, and my love for all things post apocalyptic make this seem like a definite direction to go in.






This video of a compilation of scores by 'Immediate Music' also compliments that 'end of days' feeling I would love to portray in an animation.
perhaps the before and after of the worlds end, who is left? what caused it? etcetera.

I'm aware it's early days, but I figured getting a head start on the creative process can't be a bad idea.

    Thanks Bob! some really great stuff here. I'm spoiled for choice.

    Definitely going to need a lot of research into this idea. Really would love to run with this idea though, obviously with a lot more thought involved before anything
