I need to get into the habit of uploading these tutorials as and when I do them, so here they are. unfortunately, as I just progressed without posting, it was difficult for me to show my actual progression through the tutorials, so I will try to show my progression as best as I can.
This was the first tutorial, and a smooth render in maya Hardware with my custom shader on the vehicle.
This video focused more on the rear of the car , again, not much detail was put into place at this stage, although I did struggle with the hole for the backlight - when smoothing, I seemed to have weird artefacts, but I soon managed to fix it, realising I had deleted
edges and not vertices with them.

This image is the wire frame, It still needs neatening up at this point.

This is the stage I am currently at with the Mustang tutorials. Here is a smooth render in mental ray with a directional light. So far, this tutorial hasn't been too troublesome, I tend to get a bunch of problems when applying bevels, even when copying the exact settings shown in the videos, but they are easily remedied after a while.
Beneath is the wire frame mesh when smoothed, for where I currently am with this model. with this and the character modelling tutorials combined, my confidence in modelling has really gone up a notch, and I really hope to finish this vehicle.
