Hi Alan,
As I mentioned to you last week, I will be unable to attend the Tuesday 22nd of February tutorial for reasons you aware of. With that in mind, this post is just to ask a few questions and show you where I'm at with regards to the project.

This is the finished canvas painting without character figures put in - these will come toward the end as we discussed. Based on what you are limited to seeing here, brings me to my questions:
1. If we do use the image projection method and use the canvas as the textures, am I right in saying - once they are baked, they can be adapted and neatened in a painting application?
2. Is this painting 'substantial' enough that I can use the projection modelling method? Or would it be easier/more efficient to model the separate parts (only what we see) in the style of a 'living 3d painting'?
To be honest, I'm a little apprehensive about going into the production stage of this project, for the sole reason - I'm still quite unsure of how to go about using these projection techniques effectively. I personally feel that modelling the visible parts of the set would be easier for me (at least at this stage - Perhaps if we discussed the technique with regards to the actual painting, I would feel differently).
This leads me to the question:
3. Where do I go from here? What would be the approach to scanning a painting - and what is the next move from there? I guess this would all depend on what we decide is the best method for the piece.
In a nutshell: I'm extremely eager to get into production and do not want any time going unused, so any advice with getting started would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
