Filling It Up - Prop Models 1

Not having too much luck with sculpting the rocks today, I decided to take a break and model some of the other bits and pieces that will be populating my scene. Some of them need to be intergrated direct, so thought I'd leave those for another day. Anyway here is what I put together across the day.

Just a basic chain model, it works for both the hanging chains and those that will be holding Abel into his stocks. It would be a good time to point out, most of this stuff could want more detail, but hasn't been added as they will only barely be seen (when in scale with the scene, most things are only minute details).

Here we have what appears to be a generic bone but is actually a model of a Femur (thigh bone) its fairly high poly for what I want, but I got lost in the moment and added a bunch of detail - Oh well. I chose this bone as it is the most obvious shape in the human skeleton, and would stand out more than any other models as a bone.

This is the spikes used for impaling the tortured souls, and used as a hazard for anyone who cliff jumps or attempts to escape (based of the divine comedy). My current graphics card wouldn't pick up much detail in the viewport, but rest assure this isn't just a cylinder. there is more detail that comes out in render.

This is the flaming torch, the kind you founded mounted to the rocks and cliffs sporadically. I based it off of traditional Medieval hallway torches, and made it look warped like all things in Hell would become.

And finally, here is the noose that Judas Iscariot (amongst others) hangs from in Hell. Not much more to say really. a simple circle along a curve extrusion with more details around the knot, to establish it for what it is.

The rest of the environment models that come to mind are: Throne, Rope bridge, Rubble, Holes in floor, whip, Stocks - are probably going to be modeled directly into scene.
